Before Bed, I read.
I just spent nearly 45 minutes reading the bible. That's not long in context of eternity but I only read about 5 chapters. Actually only 4, Exodus 30-34. It was amazing. Here are some things I took extreme notice of while I was reading:

Exd 30:29 "You shall also consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them shall be holy."
>>> It is Gods will for us to be holy and for everything to be holy - just as He is holy.

Exd 32:1-4
"And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for [as for] this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which [are] in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring [them] unto me.
And all the people brake off the golden earrings which [were] in their ears, and brought [them] unto Aaron. And he received [them] at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These [be] thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt."

>>>> The second Moses turns his back, they turn away. How frustrating must that have been. I just want God to strike them down but if He did that then He would have to strike me down for my sins; and I wouldn't like that very much. [As Pastor Jeff was talking abuot today in Church.] So Thank God for His mercy!
Later in the chapter God is preparing to lay down his wrath on them for their becoming corrupt. God said to Moses, "Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation." Then Moses began pleading with God. It says in verse 14, "Then the Lord relented and di not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened."

Exodus 32:27-29 and 31B-32 "Then he said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.' " The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died. Then Moses said, "You have been set apart to the LORD today, for you were against your own sons and brothers, and he has blessed you this day."
>>> It is Gods will for us to be set apart from things that are not holy.

. . . "They have made themselves gods of gold. But now, please forgive their sin—but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written."
>>> Moses must have felt such compassion for them! It's so amazing! I want a love and compassion like that for the people I know. He understood the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord.

Exodus 33:15-17 "Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?" And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."
>>> Because it's God's will for us to be set apart from the world, and to be holy, He follows us where ever we go. I think that when we arent set apart from things of the world He cant go with us -- maybe because He needs a holy place to live - to dwell - and if we arent holy, He cant live in us.

Today I was supposed to go on a field trip with the Special Ed department (as a sort of helper) along with two other girls from my P.E. Class. Two of us asked our P.E. teacher where we were supposed to meet and he told us 'The Cafeteria." This was no surprise to me because the last time I went on a field trip with them we met in the cafeteria. Also, the last time I went on a field trip with them I had to wait about 15-20 minutes in the cafeteria before they arrived - so when 20 minutes passed after waited I wasn't too taken aback. After 25 minutes passed, I went up to the Special Ed Office and asked, "Do you know where the field trip is meeting?" The lady told me that they had left 10 minutes ago! Now, fully taken aback, I went back downstairs to the cafeteria and told the two other girls of the news. Shocked, we all went to the PE Office to find our PE teacher; he had some esplainin' to do. Alas, he was nowhere to be found. In our last attempts, we went to the main office to tell them of our current situation. "Yeah, we were supposed to go on a field trip with the special ed department and we were just informed that they left without us," I said. The lady sort of laughed in shock; she didn't quite know what to do. She tried to call the leaders of the field trip but they failed to call back so the two girls and I were sent back to class. Naturally, this all happened on the 27th; being the one day that all bad things happen to me.. lol
Thankfully, I had a feeling last night that I should do all my homework, just in case something fell through and I ended up having to go to class. I studied and finished all my assignments. In the morning I was standing infront of my english binder [which contained all my english homework] and was debating whether or not to bring it with. I asked myself, "Why bother, It'll just sit in my locker and then I'll have to lug it back home." But just as I was leaving the house, I ran back in and grabbed it - just in case. Thank God I did because she checked our binders today [meaning she checked our notes] and I got full credit and I did good on my tests and, yeah. Its like how Pastor Jeff talked about God giving us a sort of intuition about things. Like, when your getting something, and something inside you tells you to take something else, and you keep asking yourself "But why?" until finally you go back and realize you needed the thing that you thought you should bring. Thats exactly what happened. God helped me out - I dont really know why because a situation luike that seems so small - to me - in comparison to other things... Like, why would God choose to give me that intuition in that situation? Who knows? Maybe there's a much bigger reason; like I needed to turn in my English so I can become some english major in college and write best selling novels... - or someting.. >_> lol

Change of Pace
Welp, I started my new classes.
English 208 [advanced English] is alright. I had high hopes. The teacher I was supposed to have is apparantly on maternity leave so we have a different lady. Our new teacher is very, inexperienced - I think. Not to say she doesn't know the material, just that she seems to have a lack of confidence in front of the class and Im not sure how much she'll be challenging me. For the past three years I've had the top notch English teachers at my schools and Im not sure about this one. Im kind of frustrated but maybe Im completely misjudging her. The thing about her is that shes very "by the book." If you know what I mean... My other english teachers taught how they saw fit - she follows the guidelines of the typical english teacher (as would elementary and some junior high teachers)

My other class, US History, is pretty cool. So far all we've been convering are the United States; where they're located and what their capitals are. I'm not too good at this geographical stuff so I'm not entirely intrigued by the class yet but I have hope left. The teacher is young - swears a bit - but he seems pretty cool. When he's reading he sounds like he's auditioning to be the next "Movie Phone Guy."

Other than that, H2O is going good. A/Some member/s are/is stepping into a role of leadership. I'm not sure how it will turn out but it should be good. That's about it. :-)

And yay for the fact that Im keeping up on my reading through the bible in one year [again] endeavor. ^_^
