Spring break? OVER!
Well, nothing is really new here. Im in the library...its lunch right now. My head hurts and I dont feel like going to lunch. Blah. Today is our first day back after spring break and it reeks disaster. I tried to have Jesse help me on some math last night but its too hard to explain over the phone...but I know if I dont pass this final on Friday I'll get dropped from the class and lose the credit...furthermore..having to retake it next year anyway! Not cool. Im worried. Ive been trying to get help but difficulty arose when Heidi was sick in bed and couldnt help me and Theo never came over.
by the way...go to http://kneedposture.blogspot.com for my prayer requests and other..stuff.
Or...to get involved with my youth group...go to be-illuminated.com/roots
its a message board. Im rarely on it because our computer wont let me log in and because Im almost never online anymore. Ah well. Catch yall on the flip side!

See Spot Rock 2004!
The concert yesterday was great! It was the best and the worst concert Ive ever been to! Confused? Here's why. Skillet was there, and they are AWESOME! They are the best preformers Ive ever seen! They get the whole crowd going! It was great. I wanted them to play last, but they played 2nd to the last. So, they only played about 6 or 7 songs. Which stunk big time. But what I got to see what soooooo, GREAT! Bad points...Grits. Im probably making too big a deal out of this but they played some secular music..and it was so shocking. They started playing music from Beyonce and Outkast and I just didnt like that. Im sure theyre a christian band..(rappers) and its clear they have talent..but I guess they're just not something I like. Pillar was good..Im not sure I liked theyre preformance too much because they screamed a lot.. (which I like...but..)and I just didnt get into their music. Again, probably my fault because I didnt know the words...so yeah. I didnt like Big Dismal..Not my thing at all. Nothing against the band, just not my thing. 12 stones. Paul rocked it out! He got the crowd going!! He was funny too. He kept doing these robot moves. Good times. Let's see. It was cool...Pillar remembered my cousins from the time they met at the Jerry Springer set, so they were all talking. Pretty good stuff. Crystal got the girl drummer from Skillet's stick. She got it signed from all the memebers. I just had them sign my ticket. Lol. Its cool. The lead singer John is so cool. He wore this black fur coat, and hes soo nice. Actually, they were all so nice. Heh. I hope they come back to Chicago!
Well, the House of Blue was a nice place...I dont think its good for concert though. The floor was NOT made for that. When everyone started jumping..it was like I was jumping too because the floor just moved with them. I swear, I thought it was going to give in. So, that was weird. Also, there was bar surrounding the whole area, so it smelled. Ah well. I met this cool guy..I didnt catch his name. He said he was a youth pastor in Peroria (however its spelled) and yeah. He recognized me..I dont know why. Heh. Maybe we went to the same concert before?! Lol. Its funny though..at first he was bugging me because he sang SOO loud...like..he was right in my ear and I heard him more than the singers. But then I started talking to him and he was a really nice guy. I also met his friend, Amanda, and she was nice. She looked a bit familiar to me, but I didnt look familiar to her. heh. Ah well, it was cool. At the very last song, he tapped me on the shoulder and said bye. His eyes were kinda red...so I just said a quick prayer...in case something was wrong. I dont know, cant hurt, right?! That'd be cool if I ran into him again at another concert. Ah, good times. Well, thats how it went.

P.S. On Sunday, I DIDNT WATCH CHARMED! Yes, this is true. Its huge for me..and though it doesnt seem like much..its one of those small changes that nobody notices..but it makes the world of a difference to me. So, its really cool. Hehe.

Monkey Trouble

JESSE! Ahh, lol!
Five little monkeys, jumping on the bed, 1 fell off and bumped his head. The mother called the doctor and the doctor said, no more monkeys jumping on the bed!
Four little monkeys, jumping on the bed, 1 fell off and bumped his head. The mother called the doctor and the doctor said, no more monkeys jumping on the bed!
Three little monkeys, jumping on the bed, 1 fell off and bumped her head. The mother called the doctor and the doctor said, no more monkeys jumping on the bed!
Two little monkeys, jumping on the bed, 1 fell off and bumped his head. The mother called the doctor and the doctor said, no more monkeys jumping on the bed!
One little monkey, jumping on the bed, She fell off and bumped her head. The mother called the doctor and the doctor said, no more monkeys jumping on the bed!

Thats great. Hehe. Well. Whats new? I missed youth group on Saturday! It stunk! I went out with Mom to get the Casting Crowns CD, and mom said she had to run into a store and get a blouse...So, anyway, turned out she went to Stratford and by the time we got into the store it was 2:20 pm. We were going to leave for roots at 3:00 so..I didnt make it. :-( It was a New York meeting too, so its not good that I missed it. And Crystal said they did communion and learned about it. So I missed that which really really stinks because I wanted to learn more about it. I didnt even really know what it all meant until a few months ago. Haha. Ah well.
Lets see. What else? Its Spring break, thank God! Im so glad to be off but I have 5 review packets for math before the final which is next friday. Gah. Im so going to fail. Not to be negative, but I will... ::sigh:: My birthday is coming up on May 10th. I dont think..err.. I know Im not doing anything for it. Mom isnt sure if she can give me $100.00 for my birthday this year. I was going to put hat money to new york but now I dont think Ill be getting it. Ill just have to wait and see how the Lord provides because I cant see it yet. :-)

A story for me
Hmm.
Daisy (Dave's (Dads friend) dog) came over today. She looks a lot like Tobi and I felt horrible..she'd pass my doorway and I kept thinking it was Tobi. Um. And my friend Brian wrote this for me:
A Dog's Plea
Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.
Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I might lick your hand between blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me things you would have me learn.
Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when the sound of your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.
Please take me inside when it is cold and wet, for I am a domestic animal, no longer accustomed to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory then the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth.
Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food that I may stay well, to romp and play and, do your bidding, to walk by your side and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.
And, my friend, when I am very old and I am no longer able to enjoy good health, hearing and sight, do not make heroic effort to keep me going. I am not having fun. Please see to it that my like is taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing with my last breath I draw that my fate was always safest in your loving hands.
When I am past and gone mourn for me. Remember the good that we shared, but do not fret over me. I will always live on in your heart forever your friend.

To top off my day, right?!

Emotional
Let's see now. Whats been going on recently? Ive been struggling in math really bad. Im trying reall y hard though... I stayed after on Wednesday for an hour and tomorrow Im going to math tutoring for seminar. In gym class, Mrs. Sanders is working us really hard. Im not sure why...maybe because she'll be leaving in a week or so (Dont know why, dont know if she'll be back) or maybe because some of the kids in my class are goofing off, but I hurt. On Tuesday we did 2 extra sets of everything. I thought I would die. Today, we worked hard too and I almost started crying! These two girls on the bad mitten team, Dena and Christina, decided they wanted to play against me and Sarah. Well, Sarah doesnt try and shes not very good, so I wanted to play against people who also weren't the best. I told them this, and they said "Oh well, just play against us" So..I did, but we lost 0 to 15. After they hit 15 points, the game was over..I suggested we just play again or toss the birdie around..but Dena started to have Christina help her practice..so me and Sarah went and leaned against the wall. Mrs. Sanders walks into the gym, and yells "NAOMI! Sarah! What do you think your doing! Get ta' moving!" And I told her flat out, they dont want to play us anymore and theyre practicing, she said "yeah..right" and laughed. GRR! I was so mad.
So, after school I went to Lifetime Fitness (stupidly, because I already hurt a lot from gym) but I went because I wanted to borrow these two worship CD's from Mom. So, yeah.. I went on the eliptic thingie for 10 minutes, the bicycle for 15 minutes, and the tread mill (which shocked me 11 times, hard!!!!) for 20 minutes. Blah, Im exausted.
Eyes burn, and throat is really dry..and my nose is still pretty stuffy. Ah well, enough said for now I guess.
Oh yeah, I got the Fallingup CD (great) and Crystal got the Matthew West CD, and I got the next two (31 and 32) Left Behind books. Oh yes, and Monday night, and Tuesday night..err...and Wednesday night..uhh, I cried a lot..because Monday (the 8th) was...er..would have been..Tobi's birthday.

No words
Wow..Well, last nights youth meeting was..different. Um, we talked about New York, and Im scared to go now. What was I thinking?! I cant talk to people... I mean...who am I to talk to these people?!! Oh man, I just have to pray soo hard for God to ready me for this trip. Ten days...little sleep...lots of work...uhh. I dont know, Im scared.
Umm..tomorrow is March 8th
Tobi's..birthday.

Got yelled at again last night for talking on the phone too late. Dad was about to take the cell away. AHH! So now me and Jesse can only talk on non school nights...basically only friday and saturday night.. blah. And on Saturday nights, I have to go to sleep pretty early for church. Soo.. Spring break...and...I gotta find out if his weekends are free....because if they are, then we can talk all day. but yeah.
Um, I just found myself in the presence of a flabby arm moment.
this guy...had flabby fat arms..and they were hairy..he was walking right infront of me in the hall. Gah
Not cool.
Ummm. New Kutless CD still rocks. Cant get over it

I just read Luke 21 : 1-4
1. As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3. I tell you the truth, He said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth, but she out of her poverty, put in all she had to live on."
